The Lamborghini Revuelto introduced a new chapter for the brand’s flagship V12 in March 2023. A naturally aspirated twelve-cylinder engine remains at its heart, now supported by three electric motors and a plug-in hybrid system.

A new layout for the V12 flagship
The Revuelto combines a longitudinally mounted V12 with a transversely mounted dual-clutch transmission. Two electric motors serve the front axle, while a third motor works with the rear powertrain. The arrangement allows electric assistance and gives the car additional control over how power reaches the road.
Its carbon-fibre structure supports a design that places the engine on display. The familiar scissor doors and dramatic proportions connect the Revuelto to Lamborghini’s flagship lineage, while its aerodynamics and hybrid packaging establish a new technical direction.
Performance and identity
Replacing the Aventador, the Revuelto keeps the character of a high-revving V12 while adding the immediate response of electric motors. The combined system rating is different from the engine’s output alone, so its 1,015 CV figure describes the complete hybrid powertrain.
The specifications here are Lamborghini’s original manufacturer figures. Acceleration results in actual use depend on conditions, tyres and the chosen driving configuration.
