Ferrari Purosangue: V12 Specs, Performance and Production

The Purosangue introduced four doors and four individual seats to Ferrari’s production range. A naturally aspirated V12 remains central to its character, while rear-hinged rear doors and active suspension make it a different proposition from the marque’s two-seat sports cars.

What makes it different

The engine sits behind the front axle and the gearbox is mounted at the rear, giving a quoted 49:51 front-to-rear weight distribution. Ferrari’s active suspension manages body movement, while the carbon-fibre roof helps lower the centre of gravity. The rear doors open in the opposite direction to the front pair, improving access to the two separate rear seats.

For readers comparing model years, the original “2024” article title described a model-year listing. The car itself debuted in 2022, with deliveries beginning the following year. Those dates should not be confused.
